Diversity in Structural Engineering Scholarship

2026 NCSEA Foundation Diversity Scholarship Application
Apply by February 1, 2026

Structural engineering thrives on diverse perspectives—each one adding new ideas, experiences, and ways of solving the world’s most complex challenges. The NCSEA Foundation’s Diversity in Structural Engineering Scholarship Program was created to ensure that every talented student, regardless of background, has the opportunity to contribute to the profession’s future.

Each year, the program awards scholarships to junior college, undergraduate, and graduate students pursuing structural engineering degrees at accredited institutions across the United States. Since its inception in 2021, the program has provided more than $216,000 in support to students who have been historically underrepresented in the field, including (but not limited to) Black/African American, Native/Indigenous American, Hispanic/Latino or Spanish, Asian, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people with disabilities, and veterans.

Together, we’re building a more inclusive, innovative, and resilient profession—one scholarship at a time.
